BitCub Clubs

Code that students write at club is still there next week, next term, and at home. A platform for coding and robotics clubs that keeps every student's work and progress in one place.

In development. We're looking for a small number of clubs to pilot it with us.

Where a student's code lives

  • Term
    • Module
      • Lesson
        • Their saved code and progress

The problem with club coding

Students write code in a session, the session ends, and the work is lost on a shared laptop or scattered across accounts. Next week they start again.

Club leaders juggle lesson plans, students moving at different speeds, and parents asking what their child has been doing.

What it does

Code that's kept

Every student's work is saved against the lesson, module and term it belongs to, so progress builds up over time.

Work from anywhere

Students can carry on at home or on another computer, picking up exactly where they left off.

Lesson planning

Plan your curriculum as terms, modules and lessons.

Pacing

See where each student is, so you can help the ones who are stuck and stretch the ones racing ahead.

Parent updates

Parents get a view of what their child has been working on, without you writing it up every week.

Coding and robotics

Designed for clubs that mix screen-based coding with hardware and electronics projects.

Easy sign-in for children

Student sign-in is designed to be quick for young learners, with no email address needed.

Run a club? Help shape it

We're working with a small number of early clubs: after-school code clubs, robotics clubs and school computing departments. Pilot clubs use BitCub Clubs with their students and tell us what works and what doesn't.
